Rocky Mountain Chalets is situated in an ideal location – an easy walk from cafés, restaurants and supermarkets, yet in a peaceful, natural environment. You will find our accommodation both modern and tasteful, with an emphasis on superior facilities and clean, quiet surroundings. We pride ourselves on offering our guests an experience they will truly enjoy.

 

Deep soak hotpools

Soak in a deep soak hotpool after a busy day on the slopes! For guest use between the hours of 8am and 9.30pm. Children are welcome to use our Deep soak hotpool facilities under active guidance from a supervising adult.

 

Communal Area

Relax with other guests or extended family and friends in our comfortable communal chalet. Chat with like-minded guests after a stimulating day on the slopes, or connect with other outdoor lovers before hiking the Tongariro Crossing - our communal area is warm and welcoming, make yourself at home!

 

Sauna

Guests are invited to enjoy our sauna, which has room to comfortably accommodate up to 3 adults. This facility is not suitable for children; therefore, we do enforce an adults-only restriction.

 

Free Wi-Fi

Rocky Mountain Chalets offer the added convenience of complimentary Wi-Fi, ensuring guests stay seamlessly connected amidst the breathtaking mountain scenery.  Whether checking emails or sharing mountain adventures on social media, the provision of free Wi-Fi enhances the overall experience, combining modern connectivity with the tranquility of nature.

 

55inch Full Smart TV

Each chalet at Rocky Mountain Chalets is thoughtfully outfitted with a 55-inch full smart TV, providing guests with an immersive entertainment experience. Whether unwinding after a day of exploring the scenic surroundings or enjoying a cozy night in, the large and smartly-equipped TVs add a touch of modern comfort to the rustic charm of the chalets. All TVs have access to Freeview.

Washing Machine & Dryers

Experience the convenience of home away from home at Rocky Mountain Chalets, where every chalet is equipped with its own washing machine and dryer. This thoughtful amenity ensures that guests can maintain their routines and stay refreshed throughout their stay, adding an extra layer of comfort to the mountain retreat experience.

 

Conference room available for up to 16 guests.

Our facilities include a dedicated conference room, accommodating up to 16 guests.
